The mission of the institution is to enrich knowledge in the field of history by conducting in-depth research into Islamic Andalusian history. The methodological objective focuses on supporting and financing specialized archaeological field projects, given that archaeological discoveries represent a fundamental and vital source of primary data, especially in light of the scarcity of written documents covering that civilizational era.
This effort is crowned by the publication of research and archaeological findings in the form of books and scientific articles, to ensure that this verified and documented knowledge is available to the academic community and those interested in the Islamic Andalusian heritage. The association will also contribute to supporting Arab students to complete their higher studies at Spanish universities.
